Hall Green Station is on Station Drive off Stratford Road, Hall Green, Birmingham, B28 8JX

In brief

The former Great Western Railway opened a station at Hall Green in 1908 on what was then called the North Warwickshire Line (now the Shakespeare Line). The station is convenient for trains to Birmingham Snow Hill or to Stratford-upon-Avon. Visitors coming by train to Sarehole Mill, can alight here, and walk (or catch the 11C bus) down Cole Bank Road. During Monday to Saturday there is three trains an hour each way, with at least one train an hour continuing to Stratford-upon-Avon, whereas the other two terminate at Whitlocks End. Trains heading north go towards Stourbridge Junction, with some continuing onto Kidderminster and / or Worcester Shrub Hill / Foregate Street. The station has a car park, and was the launch venue in November 2021 for Musical Routes, with surviving members of UB40 attending.
