Adderley Park Station - A railway station in Birmingham!

Adderley Park Station is on the West Coast Mainline between Birmingham New Street and Coventry. A station first opened here in 1860. Only one train an hour in both directions all week.

Where is Adderley Park Station?

Adderley Park Station is on Bordesley Green Road, Saltley, Birmingham, B8 1BY

In brief

Adderley Park is the first stop on the semi-fast line on the West Coast Mainline between Birmingham New Street and Coventry. Most fast trains don't stop here. The London and North Western Railway opened a station here back in 1860.  After various mergers it became part of British Railways in 1948 after nationalisation. It later became part of Regional Railways, which was part of British Rail. After privatisation in the mid 1990s, the station was run by Central Trains (until 2007), then London Midland (until 2017) and now West Midlands Railway. There is a limited service at this station, with at least one stopping train an hour in both directions. The station is also used by the modern London Northwestern Railway.
