Lea Hall Station is a small station on the West Coast Mainline between Birmingham New Street and Coventry. A station first opened here in 1939. In 1998 Tim Tolkien designed a colour scheme.

In brief

The original Lea Hall Station opened in 1939 to the designs of architect William Henry Hamlyn.  The station was redesigned in 1998 with new sculptures and a colour scheme from Tim Tolkien, the great nephew of the writer J. R. R. Tolkien.  There is two trains an hour towards Birmingham New Street, with a limited service in the other direction towards Birmingham International, Coventry and Northampton. All service are run by West Midlands Trains under their London Northwestern Railway brand.
