In brief

Built in 1849 as the entrance gateway to what was then called Wolverhampton High Level Station (now Wolverhampton Station). A Grade II listed building, it is now part of Wolverhampton Interchange and next to Wolverhampton Bus Station. Was formerly used as a WH Smith, and more recently as a Costa Coffee.  From summer 2023, it's now occupied by the Central Community Shop. And from autumn 2023 Pomegranate Cafe.
