In brief
The station opened on the North Warwickshire Line (now branded the Shakespeare Line) in 1908 serving the village of Wythall in Worcestershire. It is just outside of the West Midlands County, but counts as fare zone 5 from Transport for West Midlands. Trains here are hourly. Sometimes served by The Transport Museum Wythall on Bank Holiday weekends, with heritage buses from the station to the bus museum.

The station opened in 1908 as Grimes Hill Platform.

It was renamed to Grimes Hill & Wythall Halt in 1914.

Then to Grimes Hill & Wythall Platform in 1927, the suffix was dropped in 1934, and it finally became Wythall in 1974.

Trains at Wythall are hourly in both directions between Birmingham Snow Hill and Stratford-upon-Avon, some services continue onto Stourbridge Junction, on Sunday's there is an hourly service between Worcester Foregate Street and Stratford-upon-Avon.

The station does not have a ticket office, but it now has a ticket machine, step-free access, and prepurchase collection of tickets, as well as a taxi rank.

When The Transport Museum Wythall runs services from their bus museum around the area, they have some heritage buses stop at Wythall Station to pick up passengers to take them to the museum. There season is usually from April to October each year.

Wythall is in Worcestershire, between two stations in Solihull (Whitlocks End and Earlswood).
