With trains twice an hour in both directions, you can get to Walsall in around 9 minutes, and to Birmingham New Street in half an hour from Bloxwich North.

Under London Midland (until 2017) and West Midlands Railway (from 2017), they used to use diesel Class 170's between Birmingham New Street and Rugeley Trent Valley. After the Chase Line was electrified by 2019, they were replaced with Class 350's.

There is a semaphore signal sculpture at the station on Broad Lane.
